ffffffffffffff

Modern design is a style of decor that focuses on minimalism, neutral colors, clean design lines and environment friendly materials. An example of modern design is a metal free coffee table which is made from recyclable materials and the new couches made by natural fabrics. Most in our home if we talk about furniture, it is made of wood. May be it is in kitchen, in our bed room, in our drawing room, in our guest room or may be in our dining room. There is so much furniture in our home made of wood.

The question is now how we take care of our furniture. We can use soft cotton cloth for removing dust some other home remedies like warm water, cleaning sprays. The main thing is how we can maintain our furniture’s shining. Then turn to your mother nature when you want to clean and shine your kitchen cabinets so you won’t have to inhale noxious chemicals while cleaning.

Many modern dusting and cleaning products contains chemicals that make your cabinets look good initially, but with time, they can damage your cabinet’s finish. You can make your own products from ingredients at home or use green products available where you shop.

Here are some best ways by which you can keep you furniture clean and long last shining. The finish on your cabinetry determines the final polish to make your cabinets shine. For surface sealed wood, covered with a varnish or polyurethane, you can use an oil to make it shine. But cabinets sealed with wax or oil requires that you reapply a natural wax or Tung oil. To test the finish type of a cabinet, rub boil linseed oil onto the cabinets; if it beads up, your cabinets have a hard surface finish if not it may be oil or wax. To test for a wax, scratch an inconspicuous place on the cabinets.

After making the scratch you rub it with a soft cotton cloth. If it disappears, the cabinets have a wax finish. Before you add a natural oil to make your cabinets shine, you must need them first. Wipe them down with a dust rag to remove loose dust and debris. A spray on natural citrus cleaner can effectively remove grease and kitchen grime buildup. Look for the products containing D Limonene on the label, as it indicates pine or citrus oils, which don’t damage cabinetry finish.

Use this product with a natural homemade furniture polish for the final shine. A small bottle having squirt tip can house your cabinet polish recipe made from olive oil, pure essential lemon oil and white vinegar. This polish both cleans and shines you cabinets after you have removed dust and loose dirt. Method is pour olive oil into the squirt bottle, filling it ¾ full add1/4 teaspoon of pure lemon oil, and top it off with white vinegar. The vinegar represents the cleaning agent the lemon oil gives a pleasant fragrance, and the olive oil makes your cabinets shine.

Polish with a clean rag, working in circular motions. If you do not like olive oil, you can use coconut oil instead of olive oil as a base for a wood polish. Don’t use mineral oil, as it’s a petroleum based product that essentially dries out wood with prolonged use. Fill a squirt or spray bottle ¾ full with coconut oil and add the juice of one lemon or ¼ cup of the juice of mixture. Rub the oil on the cabinets, working in the direction of grain.
